Consignment
60/4060% to you, 40% to the store
We carry your book on consignment with a signed agreement. Every copy is entered in our system so sales are tracked and you get paid for what sells. This is how most indie titles start with us.
We stock, hand-sell, and host romance authors. Indie and traditional, all subgenres, all heat levels.
It’s a Love Story is a romance-only bookstore and café in Hayden, Idaho. Our readers come in asking for the next thing to fall in love with, and our staff recommends books by hand every single day. If your book is a fit, it gets a spot on our shelves, a place in our social feeds, and a team that will put it in the right reader’s hands.

Author signings, meet and greets, and Q&A nights in the shop. Most signings land on Saturdays, when the café is full and foot traffic is at its best. Bring signed copies, special editions, and exclusive covers. Our readers love them.
We are active NetGalley readers and reviewers, and we feature books we love in our newsletter, social feeds, book clubs, and monthly picks. A book that lands with our team tends to land with our community too.
