We are always looking for great romance to recommend to our readers. If you’re an author or publisher interested in having your book carried at It’s a Love Story, we welcome your inquiry. We carry both traditionally published and indie titles across all romance subgenres — contemporary, dark, romantasy, historical, LGBTQ+, and everything in between.

Signings & Events

We host author signings, meet & greets, and Q&A events. Most local signings are scheduled on Saturdays for the best foot traffic. We love signed copies, special editions, and exclusive covers.

Consignment

We offer consignment with a signed contract. Standard rates are 60/40 (60% to you, 40% to the store). All books are run through our system for tracking and sales. We are selective with self-published titles — professional editing and cover design matter. We also don’t accept titles that use generative AI for their covers or interior art, out of respect for the human artists we love to champion.

We receive a high volume of inquiries and review each one carefully. If your book is a fit for our store and community, we will reach out to discuss next steps. Due to volume, we may not be able to respond to every inquiry individually — but please know that we read and appreciate each one.
